TalkTalk Broadband ReviewTalkTalk is owned and operated by the incredibly successful Carphone Warehouse company. The Carphone Warehouse is a leading telecom retailer whose main objective is to beat the price and service that BT provide via their TalkTalk brand. In fact, they guaranty it by putting their money where their mouth is. They're so confident their prices are lower that BT's, that if you find BT is cheaper, they will pay you £1000. The Carphone Warehouse launched its residential landline service in February 2003. The following year, after realising the importance and growth of high speed broadband in the UK, TalkTalk broadband was launched in November 2004. Recently in April 2006, Talk Talk made a groundbreaking move that shook up the broadband provider industry for good. TalkTalk now offers FREE broadband for all of its Talk3 International customers. Basically, if you swap your phone line from BT to TalkTalk you will receive free Talk Talk broadband forever. This is a good deal as Talk Talk's prices are guaranteed to be cheaper than BT's anyway. TalkTalk's free broadband offering has set a president that other broadband providers will eventually have to aim for in order to remain competitive. TalkTalk is investing heavily to ensure its broadband service meets people's expectations. The Carphone Warehouse are investing over £60m, a lot of which is for new equipment to be installed in telephone exchanges throughout the UK, thereby improving reliability and extending coverage. TalkTalk broadband is available to over 70% of UK locations. Review of TalkTalk Broadband Offers and DealsLatest TalkTalk Broadband prices and offers, 19/07/2008.
